We require third parties to agree to handle this information in a way that is consistent with our privacy policy, the General Data Protection Regulation, the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation, and any other privacy and security measures that apply.
Disclosure to study abroad.
Depending on the service you opt for, we will disclose your information to
- Education providers
- Visa officers
- Affiliates.
- Our contractors, business partners, student ambassadors, and sub-agents will have access to only the personal information they need to carry out their work efficiently for us. These could include your enrollment in a university, answering your queries, processing your appointments and reservations, conducting background checks and identification verification, providing you with job offers, facilitating airport transfers, or locating suitable permanent living arrangements for you.
Disclosure to other third parties
- Our contractors, business partners, and subagents will only have access to the personal information they need to do their assigned tasks properly. Study Overseas Hub is committed to protecting the personal information of its users, regardless of where the data is stored. Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. As a result, we recommend that you check this page for updates regularly. We will notify you and communicate with you through our communication channels such as the newsletter, the website, social media accounts, and by posting the new privacy policy on this page. These changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on this page.
Retention of Personal Data
Study Overseas Hub retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. This means that we retain different types of data for varying lengths of time depending on the type of data, the type of user to whom the data pertains, and the purposes for which the data was obtained.
When there is no longer a legal, business, or consumer necessity for us to retain personal data, we will review it and either delete it securely or make it anonymous.
Users can also request account deletion at any time by sending an email to webactivities@studyoverseashub.com. When a user requests the deletion of their account, Study Overseas Hub deletes their account and data within 120 days, unless they need to be retained for legal or regulatory reasons, for safety, security, and fraud prevention, or because the user still owes money or has an unresolved claim or dispute.
