Study Overseas Hub is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and outgoing content writer to join our team. This talented individual will be responsible for developing content in a variety of formats and will work closely with team members to create clear, strategic, and effective content that is consistent with the Study Overseas Hub brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your role and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Extensive research on industry-related topics and updating website content as required.
• Communicate with and collaborate with a writing team consisting of a content manager, editors, and web publishers.
• Write interesting content that fits with the Study Overseas Hub brand for articles, program descriptions, news, landing page content, video scripts, social media, emails, and other assets.
• Make sure that the content is perfect in terms of tone, language, and style everywhere.
• Verify that the content is free of grammatical and factual errors and adheres to all editorial guidelines for the brand.
• Refine and improve existing content for better readability.
• Do keyword research and use SEO best practices in the website's content to get more organic traffic.
• Identify information gaps and suggest additional topics for inclusion.
• Utilize industry best practices and an understanding of the company's objectives to generate ideas and content.
• Publish content across multiple platforms and evaluate website traffic performance.
• Follow an editorial calendar and collaborate with other members of the content production team to ensure the timely delivery of all materials.

Minimum Requirements: "Must Have" Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree
• Minimum of two years experience in writing, editing, and proofreading
• Proven experience as a journalist, content writer, copywriter, or in a comparable position.
• An independent learner who is proactive and quick to grasp new concepts
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
• A professional portfolio demonstrating a track record of excellent writing.
• Familiarity with web publication techniques.
• Must know how search engines function and create content that is optimized for both SEO and conversions.
